Applemead was an existing building near Whimple train station that CWBuild were commissioned to convert into six apartments. The works comprised a complete strip out, removal of all internal structures including ground, first and roof structures. CWBuild craned in pre cast concrete floors to the first and second floor levels, followed by the construction of new steel and timber cut roof structure with a natural slate covering and Velux rooflights. Each apartment has been fitted out with underfloor heating, engineered oak flooring, carpets, kitchens and bathrooms.
