CWBuild were engaged to erect a temporary roof scaffold over an existing property in Dawlish to facilitate the removal of an existing ‘Queen post truss’ roof structure, replaced with a new glulam cut roof with natural slate covering including the insertion of solar powered conservation style rooflights.

The refurbishment includes the construction of new partitions on the first floor to create the living and bedroom spaces with feature walls of lime pointed existing stonework, formation of openings in partitions for commissioned coloured glass pieces.

Both floors heated by pre-grooved chipboard under floor heating system run from an air source heat pump.

Engineered oak floors on ground and first floor with the installation of an oak and glass balustrade stair case.

Externally, the construction of a sun room lean-to with aluminium bifold doors to three elevations joined to a glass canopy that leads to a stone walled tool shed and greenhouse.
